WYOMING

Half Moon Lake

The goal of this project was to remodel a classic Mountain Lodge's restaurant and lounge.  The challenge was to update and lighten up the space while still maintaining the rustic Western feel of the space.  M&C masterfully combined wood, stone, leather and ironwork to achieve just the right balance.  There was some give and take when it came to selecting the decor: "We had to negotiate down from 14 elk heads to two".  But these compromises were well worth it.  The finished space is rich in texture and materials, yet very cozy and inviting.
